Early Life and Career
Julian Nagelsmann was born on 23 July 1987 in Landsberg am Lech, Germany. He grew up playing football and joined the youth academy of FC Augsburg at the age of 14. However, a knee injury at the age of 20 forced him to retire from playing and he turned his attention to coaching.
Nagelsmann began his coaching career in the youth academy of 1860 Munich. He then became the manager of the club's reserve team in 2015. In 2016, he was appointed as the manager of Hoffenheim, where he quickly earned a reputation as one of the most exciting young coaches in world football.
